Professional Background

Sacha is a registered psychologist and experienced educator with a strong background in both teaching and school-based mental health support. She began her career in education after completing a Bachelor of Arts (Pathway to Primary Teaching) with a major in Psychology in 2012, followed by a Master of Primary Teaching in 2013, both at Western Sydney University. Over the course of eight years, Sacha taught in a range of educational settings—including mainstream classrooms, support units, and schools for specific purposes (SSPs)—working with students with Autism, behavioural disorders, mental health conditions, and complex disabilities.

Sacha’s experiences in specialist education settings sparked a deep interest in mental health, leading her to pursue further study in psychology. She completed a Graduate Diploma of Psychology (Advanced) at Monash University in 2020, writing a thesis in educational psychology and graduating with Distinction. In 2022, Sacha was successful in receiving a scholarship from the NSW Department of Education and earned a Master of Professional Psychology from Charles Sturt University, specialising in school psychology.

Since 2023, Sacha has been working as a school counsellor, supporting students across primary and secondary schools in the Liverpool area. She received her general registration as a psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA) in early 2024. Sacha’s professional focus lies in supporting the wellbeing and learning outcomes of children and adolescents through evidence-based psychological practices in educational environments. She has now expanded her knowledge to include working with adults and aspires to empower minds of all ages and nurture personal growth.
